Apple Cake

Apple Cake
1/2 c corn oil
2 c sugar (heaping)
2 eggs, well beaten
4 c apples (Johnathan or Rome),
peeled and cut into
small bite size pieces
1/2 c chopped walnut (optional)
Sift together
2 c flour (slightly heaping)
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp ginger
Pre-heat oven 350 degrees.
Mix together corn oil, sugar, eggs, apples and
walnuts. Then add dry sifted ingredients to raw apple
mixture. Mix well. Oil and flour a 9"x13" cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until top is
browned or golden in color.
Serve warm or cooled.
It's yummy with some Cool Whip on top!
